About Project
The initiative was taken by the government of UAE to upskill their citizens by providing and enhancing learning experiences in any area of their interest regardless of background & age. The platform is a collaborative effort between the government, individuals, employers, and the continuous education and training fraternity to address current skill gaps and prepare the workforce for industry transformations and future jobs.
Well-series programs are curated through this platform for career advancement and workforce readiness. The government's objective is to improve the UAE's economic standing in its next phase of development, and this will be influenced by learning as a fundamental pillar.
Challenges
- The need to adapt teaching practices to the digital age & transform the educational experience through the implementation of a cutting-edge Learning System.
- Integrations with different platforms for providing assessments to the users, course progress, and completions for the user.
- The limitations of traditional teaching methods and sought a solution that would bridge the gap between conventional instruction and the demands of the modern world.
- SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language)-based on single sign-on integrations with different providers.
Solutions
- Expanded the learning experience with a learning management system through smart integrations such as UAE PASS and HRA (House Rent Allowance).
- Analytics integration like Google Analytics, and Big Query to understand user behavior & assess their capabilities.
- We integrated the feature which identifies and sources profiles for recent graduates, exploration stage, mid-careers, or job seekers, as well as recommend & curate Lighthouse, Coursera, LinkedIn, and Degreed affiliated programs for free.
- Empowering UAE nationals by supporting external integrations -ADHA-ADSG LMS, for loan procurement which can help bring positive change through financial planning.
